Aquisition

Retained by a national restructuring business to identify a team move / corporate acquisition in Scotland as a means to enter a new market and continue with our client’s UK wide expansion plans.

Edinburgh and Glasgow markets were thoroughly mapped and our existing network utilised to identify possible acquisition targets and Partners who could move across a team. Our Managing Director led on all the approaches to the key stakeholders on the target list and ensured NDAs were signed on both sides prior to discussions taking place.

Following six months of talks and a swift DD process, the acquisition completed, and our client entered the Central Belt in Scotland via Glasgow by acquiring an established, reputable and scalable 12 person business.

M&A Partner Search

Retained by a national insolvency practice to diversify its service offering to include M&A. We were retained to conduct a thorough search for a deal originating M&A Partner in London to launch, lead and grow a new corporate finance division.

Thorough briefing on the requirement before mapping the London market for dealmakers operating in lower-mid-market sell-side M&A. The team identified a number of individuals on a long list before submitting a shortlist of candidates for our client to interview. Four stage process including a panel interview and business plan presentation. We facilitated the entire process from market mapping to securing a job offer acceptance following the negotiating of a remuneration package. Onboarding support was also provided via the submission of references to support and validate the hiring decision.
